What is Notezilla?

Here is the summary:
- Go to the old PC (desktop / laptop). Find out where Notezilla stores its data. You can find this from Notezilla’s Preferences (Advanced tab). To access Notezilla’s Preferences, right-click on the Notezilla icon, and choose Preferences from the menu.
Typically, Notezilla stores data under:
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Conceptworld\Notezilla\
Windows Vista/7/8: C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Conceptworld\Notezilla\ - Open the above mentioned data folder in Windows Explorer.
- Inside the data folder, you will find either Notes8.db or Notes.db file. Sometimes you would see Notes8 or Notes if you have configured your system to hide file extensions.
- Exit Notezilla.
- Copy Notes8.db or Notes.db file to a pen drive, external drive or to a network location easily accessible from your new PC.
- Download and install Notezilla on your new computer from our website.
- Run Notezilla on your new PC and find out where exactly the data is stored (Follow step 1 on new computer)
- Open the data folder in Windows Explorer.
- Exit Notezilla.
- Delete Notes8.db or Notes.db file from the data folder (assuming that you haven’t created any important notes after installing Notezilla on the new computer).
- Copy Notes8.db or Notes.db file (that we copied from the old computer) from the pen drive, external drive or network location to the data folder opened on the new computer.
- Run Notezilla. You will find all your sticky notes from your old computer on your new PC :).
