Sync

Just imagine if you could access all sticky notes from any device that is accessible to you at any particular point of time. Notezilla allows you to sync notes between multiple Windows PCs or any other device like smartphones/tablets using the Notezilla.Net account. Once the Notezilla.net account is created, you can sync and also send sticky notes to other contacts.

Good news! Notezilla now also syncs pictures with mobile apps. Insert and sync pictures in the Notezilla apps for Android and iOS and see them on your desktop!

Transcription:

1. Right-click on the Notezilla icon and select Sync.
2. If syncing with cloud for the first time, then you have to click on Create a Notezilla.Net account button.
3. Create your Notezilla.Net account by keying in the necessary details asked.
4. Activate the account using the link emailed to you. After activating, Enable Yes, I have activated my account and click on Finish.
5. A new Sync with Notezilla.Net dialog box will appear which will show the list of Items synced, their statuses and last successful sync time.
6. Sync automatically will sync all your notes every 5 minutes.
7. Sync manually by clicking on Sync Now button.
8. Go to any browser and type Notezilla.Net in the address bar. Sign in with the correct email address and password. All your desktop notes will be shown which signifies that Notezilla has synced successfully.

The best part of Notezilla is that it can sync sticky notes between your mobile and PC or laptop! Therefore, you have the exact notes at both places!

Why reminder alarms?

Often, users create notes but forget to read or access them on time. With Notezilla, you can set a reminder alarm to the sticky notes so that you don’t miss any necessary appointment or a task. With reminders set, the chances of completing the job on time are more.

Transcription:

1. To set a reminder to a sticky note, click on the Notezilla icon in the taskbar, select New Note and write your note.
2. Left-click on the top-left button (Note Menu button) of the sticky note and select Due Date option from the menu. A new dialog box will appear.
3. Select your preferred date and time in the Set Due Date dialog box. If you do not wish to show the reminder popup, disable the Remind option. It also has flexible options to repeat the reminders at set intervals.
4. You can launch any program, documents or website at the reminder time. To do so, click on the Advanced button and choose appropriate option and press OK. The reminder is now set.
5. If Trash this note button is enabled, it will automatically delete the note after the reminder is dismissed.
6. Once the reminder is set, an icon will appear before the Stay On Top pin on the right side of the note toolbar of the sticky note.

Quicker way to set reminder to sticky notes

1. Click on the Notezilla icon in the taskbar, select New Note and write your note.
2. Left-click on the top-left button (Note Menu button) of the sticky note, choose Due Date –> Due in: and select the appropriate option from the drop-down menu list. The reminder is set for the sticky note.

The shortest way to pin a sticky note to any window (website, doc, folder, program, etc.) is to press Ctrl+Shift+W from within the sticky note. The note will stick immediately to the active window.

Just imagine if you could have the right information at the right time automatically, without any effort from your side. With Notezilla, you can attach sticky notes to a particular document, web page, folder, program, etc., so that they will pop up automatically whenever you are working on them.

To stick a note to a website (the same steps apply when sticking notes to documents, folders, programs, or any other window).

1. Open a website.
2. Choose ‘New Note’ by clicking on the Notezilla icon in the taskbar and write your note.
3. Click on the top-left button (Note Menu button) of the sticky note and choose ‘Stick To Window’ from the note menu list. A dialog box appears with the list of all the programs running on your system.
4. Choose the website where you want to stick the note to.
5. The ‘Hide note otherwise’ option will hide the note automatically if you are not on that particular website.
6. Now press OK.

The sticky notes are always shown based on the title of the website. However, if you opt to stick a note on all the pages of the particular website, use an asterisk(*) along with the title.

Often, users would like to lock sticky notes so that the content is not visible or edited by others. The note has to be encrypted so that it cannot be read from the database too. Notezilla allows to lock a sticky note as well as encrypt it.

Watch this short video for more clarity:

1. To lock a sticky note, Right-click on the note’s title bar or toolbar and select ‘Lock’ from the Note Menu.
2. Type the master password to lock the sticky note and press OK. However, if you are locking notes for the first time, then you will be requested to create a new master password. The sticky note will be locked and rolled up so that the contents are not visible to anyone else.
3. To unlock a locked sticky note, click on the lock icon placed on the right-top corner of the note. A new dialog box will appear wherein you have to type the master password to unlock the note. Unlock it if you wish to edit the note or remove the lock permanently.
4. Make sure you always remember the master password. Once you forget the master password, you will never be able to unlock the notes.
