RecentX taskbar (sidebar) and search window disappearing when clicked

Question

 RecentX  is not responding properly.  I have it in my taskbar and when I go to drag it, it just disappears until I move my mouse away and then it reappears. It is also very difficult to open the search window for the same reason – disappears when clicked. How do i fix this ?

Drag and drop the  RecentX  sidebar on the other edges of the desktop.

It is difficult to use the sidebar along with the Windows taskbar as the taskbar overlaps the sidebar many times.
