Android widget not updated with latest sticky notes

I have a Galaxy S8 phone and I downloaded the  Notezilla  sticky notes app and the widget. The widget  populates correctly with whatever is in the  Notezilla  account; however, when I add more notes, the widget does not reflect the new notes. How do i fix this?

It depends on what category of  Notezilla  sticky notes you are showing inside the Android widget.

Make sure you have  chosen the 'Recent' list from the widget settings. If not, please add the Recent sticky notes so that the latest notes are updated in the widget.
