Upgrade from Notezilla 7.0 to Notezilla 8.0

I am using  Notezilla  7.0 and decided to try the newest version. How do I import my Windows sticky notes. Will appreciate your support on the matter.

If you want all your Windows sticky notes from previous version, then you shouldn't export & import the notes. If you install  Notezilla  8.0 on the system running  Notezilla  7.0 then the notes will get imported automatically.

However, if the notes from the older version are not migrated automatically then follow the steps given below :

1. Right click on  Notezilla  icon and choose Preferences. Then click on Advanced tab.
2. There you will find the folder where  Notezilla  stores its data. Copy the whole path and open it in Windows Explorer.
3. Exit  Notezilla  7.0
4. Inside that folder you will find Notes.db file. Just Copy that file to some temporary location or another folder or pen drive. In short this file should be accessible from the computer where you are going to install  Notezilla  8.0
5. Now, install  Notezilla  8.0 on which ever system you want
6. On system running  Notezilla  8.0, Right click on  Notezilla  icon and choose Preferences. Then click on Advanced tab.
7. There you will find the folder where  Notezilla  stores its data. Copy the whole path and open it in Windows Explorer
8. Exit  Notezilla  8.0
9. Delete all files from the folder you just opened
10. Copy Notes8.db file from the temporary location to this folder
11. Run  Notezilla  8.0.
12. You should see all your notes here in  Notezilla  8.0
