Unable to send sticky notes over LAN due to Firewall issue

I got a new PC and switched to Windows 10 but i'm not able to send  Notezilla  sticky notes over our network. The other PCs in the office can’t get it to work either. Well, it works, but we can’t send notes over the network, which is all we used it for before.

We had the guy who built the PC try, but he couldn’t get it to work either. Do you have a step by step guide to setting  it up to share notes?

Looks like there was a firewall issue. 

 Notezilla  is designed to automatically alert the user when firewall should be unblocked.

This happens when adding computers after selecting "Send To -> Computer" from the sticky note's menu.

1. On computer A, go to a sticky note, select Send To -> Computer and add computer names. When doing so, you will be prompted if firewall should be unblocked. You must unblock and proceed.

2. On computer B, go to a sticky note, select Send To -> Computer and add computer names.  When doing so, you will be prompted if firewall should be unblocked. You must unblock and proceed. 

3. Now try sending the sticky note from A to B or B to A. Let me know what error you get.

Important points to note:

1. Try using IP address if computer name is not working.

2. Sometimes, 2 firewalls may be active at the same time. So you will need to configure both the firewalls on both the computers to allow  Notezilla .exe app. This is important.
