How to attach/link a document inside a sticky note in Windows?

I am using  Notezilla  for Windows.

I'm trying to attach a document that's in my Documents folder and is unsuccessful.

What am I not doing right? I have not had a problem with this in the past. I even cannot find the required icon

The "Link" feature has been replaced with the "Hyperlink" feature in the new version of  Notezilla .

If you are using the Markdown editor then you can use the "Hyperlink" button from the bottom toolbar:

If you are using the Standard editor, right click inside a sticky note (when editing) and choose "Hyperlink" option from the menu.
