How to use the sticky notes checklist feature in Windows?

Hi, I use  Notezilla  sticky notes app and have a query.

A question about checklists. When I put a checklist on a sticky note, it appears as follows:

- [ ] Item 1
- [ ] Item 2.

I can't get  Notezilla  to display the little square box with a check mark inside. How do I get checklists to display correctly without using the "stick to" functionality?

Hi, Thanks for using  Notezilla .

Do you manually type - [ ] before each line?

When using a checklist, make sure you are using the markdown editor. Because checklist works only in markdown editor.

Right click inside the sticky note and choose "Switch to Markdown editor".

Once you do this, you should be able to click on - [ ] box to have the check mark. Then you can press Escape key to go back to the read mode so that the check box is correctly drawn. To edit the checklist, you will again double click inside the sticky note or press the Space key on the keyboard.
