I copied my old notezilla db file, but  Notezilla  ignores it and creates a new one. My old one was notes.db and the new one is notes8.db. I am sure that has something to do with it.

First off all you must make sure that you are copying the file to the right folder. You can check this from  Notezilla  Preferences (Advanced tab)

Notes8.db is the file that  Notezilla  8 uses. After you copy Notes.db make sure you rename Notes8.db to something else.

This way,  Notezilla  will import from Notes.db.

While copying files make sure  Notezilla  is not running.
