Save clipboard clips forever

Question

 RecentX  clipboard feature is really a cool stuff! A question to be sure: if I right click a clipboard clip and choose "Save", does it mean that the clip will never go away (when I exceed the maximal number of clipboard clips, or after a year)? Does it become like a permanent "sticky clip" in Ditto software (so I can dump Ditto now)?

Yes.  RecentX  will save permanently. i.e when you right-click a clipboard clip and 'save' it, then it will never go away. It becomes like a permanent sticky clip.
