Excessive amount of CPU and memory usage by RecentX

 RecentX  seems like a promising application. However, multiple times, I have seem  RecentX  start continuously using over 50% of CPU for extended periods of time (until killed), to the point that it very negatively impacts the performance of other applications. So, I've had to turn it off from auto-running. I've not yet uninstalled, hoping there will be a fix for this issue.

You can disable "Internet History" completely from  RecentX  Preferences (Advanced menu) to reduce CPU performance and memory usage.

This was an issue related to our previous version. We have fixed this in the newer version. Can you please download the latest version and check again. In our latest version,  RecentX  4.0.16, big changes in the architecture has been made to make the CPU usage negligible.
